Knack Magazine is a fictional modern business and innovation publication with a focus on young business up-and-comers, and advancements in technology. Feature articles present advice for business owners, examples of major successes and failures, and the hottest new technologies on the market. In this edition featuring “The Fabulous Ms. Holmes”, Nick Bilton explains the rise and fall of Elizabeth Holmes and her infamous Silicon Valley health technology start-up Theranos, whose breakthrough blood testing invention fooled venture capitalists and private investors out of billions of dollars. Notable elements of this project include Knack’s visual identity, as well as the spread’s expressive typography, and dynamic grid layout.
